‘Two Bi Guys’ Podcast: Bisexuality Like You Have Never Heard It Before

Bisexual erasure and the lack of openly out male bisexual figures are two serious problems that we need to tackle. And the ‘Two Bi Guys’ Podcast is here to do just that.

Bisexual erasure and the lack of openly out male bisexual figures are two serious problems that we need to tackle. And the ‘Two Bi Guys’ Podcast is here to do just that.

Alex Boyd and Robert Brooks Cohen are well aware that bisexual erasure exists, and they are tackling it one episode at a time. What is a ‘good’ bisexual (spoiler alert: every bisexual person is valid and a good bisexual)? Where are all the bi athletes? What about openly bi men?

No question is too small for the two friends, and no stone is left unturned. And that was only for the first season of their podcast.

The podcast is always tailored to their guests, who give the episode’s theme. It usually functions as a mad-libs (you know, that old game where you have to place given words in a text’s blank spaces? Do not worry, we had to google this one as well) combination of some topic with bisexuality, with the obvious advantage of having someone to act as the mad libs expert. You might never have even thought about these topics, but we are sure you will let yourself be carried away by the discussions, as they get more and more fascinating by the minute.

With a brand new season starting, Alex and Robert can broach on any topic with their guests, and usually bring up a whole new and intersectional perspective on bisexuality. Their guests are not only allowed but encouraged to talk about their perspective on bisexuality, whether it be related to their work, their gender, or their religion.

As the two bi guys in question put it: Get ready for hopeful, optimistic episodes about the casual cruelty of our heteronormative society. So stop waiting and join this awesome bi community already! The podcast's trailer awaits you just below.
