Lex is creating a new queer space for meaningful connections

Lex is an app for lesbian, bisexual and queer women, non-binary and trans people to connect and find dates, hook-ups or friends. ⁠

What makes it unique (besides being super queer!) is the fact that it is a text-based platform, where witty descriptions come first and photos only second. The app is inspired by the old-school dating ads in the personals section of newspapers - remember those?

Founder Kelly Rakowski describes Lex as a more ‘thoughtful process’, where you actually have to think about who you are and what you are looking for rather than mindlessly swiping left and right for hours (we’ve all been there).⁠
