SCAR is beautiful

It then evolved into a way to show people a different side of breast cancer than the “pink ribbon” campaign we got used to seeing.

“The strength to expose themselves for themselves but for others as well”, to see women baring it all in the most beautifully tender and fragile way possible shows another type of vulnerability in women that exudes strength over weakness. 

“The viewer gets to stare at something you would never get to look at” and every photo has its own identity, whether dark, raw, hopeful, they all carry a beauty that is not often accessible to everybody’s eyes.
