Meet Shira Barzilay, the doodle poetess from Israel

She first fell in love with the feeling of creation as a child in her aunt’s art studio. She then studied fashion design and worked as a fashion illustrator while perfecting her own style. According to her, ‘art is the elimination of the unnecessary’. This perfectly describes her one-line, minimalist work.

Feminine and empowering, her art is a unique example of female gaze in art! This has allowed her to gain fans from all around the world, as well as to collaborate with renowned brands, such as Chanel.
